| It was a lovely Autumn day with a light breeze, clouds and sun. The course was very green and lush with slow greens; A good turnout and score average of 33. Winner was Paddy Farrell, finishing with a florish, on 39 from a string of 38s: Kelvin Oxley, Andy Berry and Chris Pitman. Sadly limping in were yours truly, big_flutter, combover, herby, feathered, snuffed_j, tanked and out_of_ruses. Dinner is next Wednesday, black ties for those who didn't do so well. |
