| It was mid-70s with sunny spells and a bit of breeze so ideal. Hard and bumpy as usual with greens as slow as the Swifts on a good day; average was 33. Winner on count back was Jon Webster with 39 from Dan Brierley, Miles Skuse, Malcolm Lawrence and George Armstrong. It was amazing that no one else copped it by failing to win but with a similar score. Losers were Secretary Bird, Mchouligan, wooked, turntable, not_the_welsh_wizard, strewth, pinged, old pro, tricked and buttoned_up. There were some cards which did not have their handicap index, crispy handicap etc which might have been scrapped. It seems rude to give those guys doing the admin such a quandry. |
