Another lovely sunny day, not threatening heat stroke. Course was obviously not too hard although the sound of balls crashing into trees was deafening at one point. It was good to see ladies progressing serenely down the 14th, showing how it might be done. Winner this week with an obscene 45 points was past-champ Will Newnes followed by El Presidente, Richard Slatter (off -2), Craig McGown, Alan Li, Paul Thorogood (website handicaps playing up) and Bill Maginn. Sadly, there were losers: dodgy_family, harmless, bec_n_call, bludgeon, davey, fulsome, godwit_l, badgirl, grilled, sherbet, lucked_out, unmanned_e, talked_out_k, scuse_me, old pro, crashed, sooty and timber. I'm sorry to say that the website handicap system is not necessarily accurate - I have adjusted it where I've noticed. You can look at your results by clicking on the circle with the red arrow next to your name and check to see if the handicap is correct. If there are anomalies, please let me know.
