| It was a lovely day with sunny periods and a light breeze. The course was playing a little longer, the greens were lovely but the average had dropped to 32. The excitement today was the Old Pro, in his new ride-on, managing to tip it up on top of himself. Dozens of Crispies rushed to his aid from all sides and he was fine although his golf suffered from the yipes (best I could do - ed). The winner with two 2s as well was Chris Coxon with 40 from Mark Cording, Roger Wallbutton, Chris Hole and Dean Sharland (well done!). Selflessly contributing were back_alley, yours truly, 006½, ditched, godfrayed, glad_to_miss, McHouligan, old pro, bigsy_babe and tanked. |
