| The last day of the season was gloomy but a really good one for golf. The course is still quite hard and the greens were glacially slow because of tining and sand. The average was 30. It has to be said that there were several cards from the Crispy turn up and play which do not reflect the Crispy handicap. Winner after count-back with 36 was John Snell then Graham Adams (just rewards for all his hard work), David Parker and Andy Berry. Losers for the last time this season were the Secretary Bird, Mchouligan, smashed_egg_R, el Presidente, oxslip (who would have gained 5 shots), puller_A, deadened_eye and old pro. We all look forward to the dinner next Wednesday and some discussion about this season's rule changes! |
