| It was a lovely warm day with sun and cloud. The course looked lovely but there was a fair amount of struggling in the hard bouncy conditions with a average of 30. We were graced by this year's Captain who the Editor had hoped to say that he needed feeding more porridge but he came in with 32 points, so well done! The winner with 40 points was James Roberts from Paul Godwin, Andrew Tidesley, Kelvin Oxley, Ian 'Sooty' Sutcliffe and Andy Jones. There were only six 2s. There were a bevy of losers: the Secretary Bird, el presidente, houligan, breaker, shorted, puller_a, bleak, 006½, blew_it, not_so, braced, old pro, tanked, unmanned, drowned, what_the_dickens and scalded. |
