It was a great shame that hollow-tining and sanding meant that the championship run-in was delayed until the final Wednesday. This was due to moving temporaries as work was carried out. On a gloomy day with a biting NE wind, there were 31 doughty souls competing for a one-off prize. There were no 2s so there should be a rollover next week. There were also no losers with the Crispy fund bankrolling the nibbles. There were winners though! Bob Manning won with 38 points from Ian Smith, Brian Trickey and yours truly.
