| It was a lovely warm day with a breeze from the NE. The course was baked and the greens have still not recovered and we can only hope for rain. The field is getting bigger and there were a number of twos with hoggie and crater getting 3 twos between them and buying the crisps. Winner with 42 was Brian the Trickey then Alan Hannigan, Gary Kayser, Nick Larcombe and Stuart Ling. Unfortunately not playing well enough at the end but nearly in the winnings were Andy Rhodes, Marc Janes and The Secretary who were also cut. There were, of course losers, remarked, 006½, burgeon (playing well after coping a total cut of 8), yours truly, a right one, houligan_english, cratermass, garaged, Louie, camelfoot, preener, mellow, escuse_me, smutty, timber! and loquacious one. |
