| It was, as is usual these days, very hot and only the mad dogs and Swifts were about at midday. The course is scorched but the greens are settling down again although the furrows had a few! Winner with 43 points was Lewis Burgess from Paul Davies, Martin Samuel, Debs Goodman, Roger Wallbutton and John Parsons. A few contributors (probably dripping with sweat and wondering why the eclipse hadn't been earlier) were: buried, sharp_thorn, bighted, fallen_at_the_first, not_won, bad_grade, fiddly_griddly, mchouligan, fang, newt, loose_talk, next_dance, marks and mobster. |
