| It was a challenging day with some vicious squalls to challenge the hardy Crispies who played. The course, despite the rain, was still hard and bouncy and the greens very true. Winner was Paul Thorogood with 41 from Ian Sutcliffe (who ought to change his status from 'Away'), Neil Cocks, Ian Smith and Gill Shire. Not so many losers this week: yours truly, Headstrong, aspirated, both children, earthy, houligan, heather, wide_open, mangling, nurcher, a couple of ink_blots, and smut_e (that might have come out wrong). Still some cards not marked with Crispy handicap which does make for a challenging life. |
