| It was hot with the ground pretty hard and the greens improving rapidly; shame about some of the pin positions but the Masters is upon us! Another huge field has been partly alleviated by entry being more straightforward and individual cards submitted only once (to us). Winner (for the second week running) was Nigel Gridley - so perhaps the reduction of cut shots was questionable?! He was followed by Debs Goodman, Ian Sutcliffe (up from the losers locker), Kevin Snell and Malcolm Lawrence. There was so many losers that you need patience - coccyx, didn't_make_it, brace_j, el presidente, yours truly, pig_in_a_poke, queered_his_pitch, not_so_smart, dull, donkey, what_a_beauty, forsaken and the Secretary Bird. We must apologise for the confusion over cuts last week but please put your Crispy handicap on the card and score as a Crispy Stapleford. We were £10 short this week so the winners will not get as much as they might. Please be honest or less forgetful! |
