| It was a gorgeous autumn day with sunshine, little wind and lovely greens so average was 32 and scores better (generally). There were a muster of ladies with Georgia spotted but not participating sadly. Winner on count-back was Chris Hole with 40 from Geoffrey Dight, Jeff Andrews, Roger Walbutton and Ian Sutcliffe. Losers were briarpatch, combover, not_so_hale, erica, punch_drunk, the_other_rose, old pro and chipmonk. On a serious note, two early starters forgot to pay so please sort that out. It might also be pointed out that all players are expected to conform to the standards expected within the Rules of Golf (1.2a) which means trying your best in every round even if you have a large Crispy negative handicap. |
