| The weather started cloudy and a little breezy but finished with a gloriously sunny evening, taken full advantage of by the late starters. Graham Adams (aka Adam Strange) won with 39 points from Brockie again (Captain Comet), James Poole and Pep - rushing from the car park to the tee muttering something about pressure of work. Those with more pressure, buying the crisps were Kevin Oxley (Orion), your own editor, Jeff the Secretary Bird and George Lee (carpeted, no less). The state of the cards is abysmal with many not making it clear what their current handicap is nor what they think their Crispy handicap is - this makes checking very difficult and some people have already submitted inaccurate scores. |
