| A nice warm day with a NE wind to make things interesting; course was still hard and greens were a little variable. Winner this week was Miles Skuse with 38 on count back from Alan Shire, Jon Foster and Malcolm Lawrence (looking very much like his namesake, very tanned with a hooked nose(?). Bringing up the rear were, fresh from the far north (Scotland)- Hannibal, the entire Adams family, the vicar, yardbird and snelt-down. Sadly a number of early players failed to pay their subs and the President wishes them to cough up with alactrity (whatever that is) - please. It is easy to forget in the excitement of getting a pint but not good for everyone else as they claim their crisps. |
