Normal weather - warm and sunny with bouncy everything. The season's hotting up with loads of people on the practice ground except for the sane ones having a beer before the big 'off'. Woodie won the hat prize with a satorial criss-cross number that quite obviously helped his game. Perhaps Gary might consider this as his early season form seems to have deserted him lately. Barry Hardwill won at a canter by 4 shots from Stuart Sully. He also entered the TUAP so his total cut next week will be 6 shots although only 4 from us. Well done Barry and good luck playing off 5! It is to be noted that 27 points bought the crisps so perhaps the overall standard is going up, or the art of coarse golf has been forgotten. There did seem to be an awful lot of cries from the 9th and 13th tees though and we had 6 balls on the 15th fairway as we walked down - quite confusing... |
