There was a great turnout on a blustery grey day with a touch of rain. The course is starting to look springlike although the greens were a bit iffy. Last year's Secretary Bird, Jeff Andrews was out in a buggy, busily running over Stuart Ling's ball before he backed into a seat. The Pro will have to start running driving lessons! The President was in great form, complementing Alan Hannigan on his highest score for 2 years. Trailing after the winner with 40 points, the beautifully coiffured Andy Smith, there was a pile up on 38 points, with Stuart second (in spite of the flattening of his balls), Brocky and then your luckless editor who would rather not have been in the winnings. Buying crisps were Jeff 'the driver', Michael Bird, James Symons and Barry 'it's all too much for me' Hardwill. The editor was thinking of a superhero theme for this year with Barry as Etrigan the Demon. Any comments?!
