| The weather was warm but with some sharp showers just to spice things up. To make things more interesting, our pro, Jason Avery joined with us to shoot a creditable 37 points with two 2s. Andy Smith, swarve that he is, dressed in black and gold to match his bag and trolley. Jeff Andrews produced an amazing shot from behind the oak tree at the 14th to put his ball behind it afterwards (not on the green, of course). Winner was Keiren Chaffer with 41 points from Gary Wide (posted back in), Rob Contreas, Kobe Adams and Andy Berry. Making the rest happy were the editor (unlucky bounces), cockup, contrawise (flip), locked-out, notsofine, El Presidente and stuck-in-a-web. Sadly noticeable, were some past crispies, playing but not participating; strange really. |
