There was the odd heavy shower before it just became cloudy with a light breeze. The Swifts were out ahead of the pack who obviously took exception and, in consequence, were shelled on the 15th green for the second week in a row; this time by the bar-tailed godwit (name encoded to avoid a repetition). The winner this week was Bob McWilliams with 39 points from John Snell who had three 2s including one at the first! (greedy that); they were followed by Oliver Yarde and Martin Hogan. There was real competition for the lowest score of the year with crisps being bought by David Fineberg (13), Kelvin Oxley (18) and then the Sandman (amassing a great handicap), Steve Coomber (after a very good recent run) and Michael Bird.
