| It was sunny and bone dry again but the course is playing extremely well with the new pins working well.This obviously has suited Tom Newnes who won with 45 points and is now -8. Trailing were El Presidente(!), John Webster, The Biggs and James Brice. Chris Cox recovered from filibuster and swearing last week for a credible 36 as did 'Gremlin' Hannigan but in the loser's enclosure were the Secretary Bird, 'Boy oh boy' Aspinall, Richard Bond, Trix (plus birdie) and the rather slim Alan 'the Sandman' Shire.
