| Nice weather with lovely greens and the course looking slightly battered from the summer but the rough cut down in places. After careful preparation, Alan Shire won with 41 points and a big cut of 12 shots; followed by Oliver Yarde with 38, Bob McWilliams with 36 and then Chris Chetzoy. In the losers enclosure were yours truely with 21, Kevin O'Brien, John Snell (who had been doing so well) and The Secretary Bird.
