| It was a cloudy warm day with a light breeze from the NE. The day was marred by putting a society on at 1 pm which meant some slow rounds all day which was reflected in the low scoring. Will Newnes won with 38 points from Ian Sutcliffe, Michael Bird and Gary Wide. Generous contributions in the crisps from Lewis Woodcock, Andy Smith, Ken Reid (again!), Will Parkman, Kelvin Oxley, David Gwynne-Jones and Alan Hannigan (sadly). Interesting to see last year's champ has suddenly appeared at the top of the leaderboard with the Treasurer making a run on the rails so we hope he doesn't get blocked out nearer the finish! |
