The day was squally with a little rain; the greens were like rich pastures, slow to say the least. The early scoring was diabolical, perhaps due to the sandstorm whipped up by guess who? He claimed that The Joker (B Trix) and The Shining Knight (Dusty) were much to blame but it did seem to affect the field around. The Wolverine (S Sully) won again from Karate Kid (O Yarde), General Zod (J Govier) and Pantha (W Parkman). In the crisps should have been lots of people but Dr Fate (R Palmer), The Sandman, The Flash (Slowman), The Secretary Bird and Colossal Boy (The Treasurer) bottomed out. A perceptive comment was heard that Pops, Peps and Tonger make for a delicious meal in a Chinese restaurant menu, perhaps a consolidation for those that yet again failed to make a dent on their Crispy score!
