The course seemed to be playing that much easier tonight with no wind, pins in easier position, greens recovering from being dressed and more run on the fairways. With that said you'd expect there to be some good scores in and our crispy golfers didn't fails us. In fact it was really tight at the top with Joe Jelski on 41 followed by two 40s, Geoff Tyler and Alan Burton. There was also 9 twos which goes to back up the easier pins tonight. Recovery of the day must have been Stuart Coleman managing to make a 5 from the unbelievable position he put himself in on the eleventh. You probably won't believe it but he was so far right in the rubbish between eleven and thirteen that I thought he was actually playing thirteen. Apparently he played thinking man's golf, chipped out, chipped on and holed his putt. Well done Stu. |
