It was very misty as the Crispies waited in droves for the sky to clear and sun to rise, which they did! The Swifts led as usual, to cheers of derision (very upsetting if any had been of a delicate disposition) but they were never caught. This week's winner was the charismatic Ryan Aspinall with 46 points and a cut of 12, the best of the year. He was followed by Ali Johnson with 42 off a very dubious h/c of 6, John Snell and Will Newnes, of more later. Contributions were gratefully received from Twitcher Reid, Heavy Morris, Busker Miller, Christmas Chetzoy and Holer Adams (who hates a mention). A great competition for top place with a faltering from Nat Pepperell meant that Will Newnes managed to catch but not overtake him so there are joint champions this year which also happened in 2008 and 2012. Further results will be announced at the dinner on Wed 27 Nov. It has been a great year with record entries (91 people played) and much good banter - well done everyone!
