Another glorious day with only bone hard greens and monsterous second cut to contend with. As Peter Allis would say, "keep it on the fairway and the game's simple". There was a profusion of twos with Stuart Coleman and Gary claiming a pair each. Andy of the gorgeous curling locks was heard to complement someone not so well blessed with "that's a lovely oasis you've got there amongst the trees" - harsh but true, of course! It is with regret that I have to inform you that practice does not pay: The President felt the need to buy crisps again; not to mention 'Woodie' Burt who is creeping up with his handicap. An extraordinary event - Compo managed a two and buying the crisps - flair or what? |
