| The weather was similar to Brittany so sunny spells and some wind. The course is obviously playing hard as the average score was 29, same as last week. In a field of 51, the winner was Matt Contreras with 36 followed by Oliver Yarde, Charles Fuller, Steve Coomber (what a mistaker to maker) and Brian Trickey (up to his usual, no doubt). Contributing to our welfare were the Secretary Bird, Gray Adams, Oliver Dawson, Chris Hole, Alan Shire (back in the sand), Roger Wallbutton, Lewis Woodcock and the ex-champ, Martin Short (-5 got to him in the end!). A welcome back to Ali Johnson who has obviously escaped baby sitting duties. |
