The weather was warm and overcast with lush grass so heavy rough and slick greens were the order of the day. The Bleating Bush-warbler was not around to comment on some of the pin positions but some were not nice! Slight controversy as the Cape Sugarbird put in the wrong score as the website handicap was wrong. He was third instead of first; that position being taken by the Bronzewing Courser with 39 points, putting The Paddavreter in second spot. The Ring-necked Parakeet, (R.Palmer) was back buying crisps together with the Secretary Bird, Red-billed Oxpecker and the splendidly attired (nice pink shirt), silver coiffured Broad-billed Roller (A.Smith). Cards have taken a dive again with various golfers without surnames, poor things! |
