| It was a lovely day, warm with sunshine and the course looking and playing beautifully; average was 34, top highest of the season. The field was the smallest this year as fading evenings and trips to Sardinia, Majorca, Greece and elsewhere thinned numbers - sense of priorities?! Winner this week was posted by Gary Wide with 43 (cut 6) from Roger Wallbutton, Jon Webster and Roy Miller (his grand-daughters having just got back from sunny climes to grace the bar). Buying crisps were contrawise_R, 'f_goodness_sake, hooligan (off to Sardinia) and the unreverred one. |
