| The weather was sunny and warm, blossom on the trees and the new Course Manager is certainly making a difference. Crispies were out in force again and could be seen in trees and bushes all over the course. Winner in style off -2 was The Secretary Bird with 41, buggy-bound but clubs a-flashing; he was followed by newby Gary Kayser, yet another Contreas - Robert, Martin Short and another of the newts - Phil. Fighting for bottom spot with 20 was scuse-me followed by the good-looking(?) one, linquishing, up in a cloud of flour, in-the-pits, smitten and the knackered-pro. Whilst it is nice to see returning Crispies, it would be nice if they had remembered to put their surnames on the card as 45 entries with 'Rog' would have been a stretch even for the scoring pair of Gray and Malc! |
