| Although not baking hot, the day was extremely pleasant and the first time, this season, that Crispies could meet inside the clubhouse. The Past Treasurer boasted of his future brilliant score but there was a gap between lip and cup. The winner this week was newcomer Mark Andrews with 44 (so we hope to see him in future), Jordan Clapp (scorecard not withstanding), the good-looking-Ryan-Aspinall, and (from that successful stable) Tom Newnes beating Will on count-back. Losers included The Secretary Bird, The Locksmith (find the key please), Linging for success, another Newt, Skuse-me-again and Wad-if. |
