A threat of rain amidst a very misty afternoon did not deter Crispys too much and the greens were running well with some rather hard pin positions. Rumours abounded about a driver being destroyed on the 17th tee, a very understandable golf malaise! The Red Rocket, last year's champion made a big move, winning with 42 points. Second was Hank Hall (Pops) followed by the Bronze Tiger (B McWilliams) and Cosmic Boy (A Avis) who seems to be having a late season revival. In the crisps were Uther Pendragon, whose work is interferring badly with his golf, Dr Fear, Firestorm and lastly The Sandman who feels that his historic cut was rather over the top.
