The day was pleasantly warm but the course parched and the greens hard. Scoring was patchy with some of last week's leaders down in the weeds. Watch for crispy shots appearing rather later than expected! Kevin O'Brien won this week with 37 (only score below par) with Stuart Ling second with 35 from Roy Miller (did you see the slightly overstated V for Victory sign on his shirt?) and Michael Bird. El Presidente narrowly missed the crisp being 'beaten to it' by Kelving Oxley, Chris Pitman (manfully battling on in a buggy with Archilles trouble), Owen Irish and yours truely. It was collaborated by the ladies section that bounces could be very cruel and hardly ever favoured the embattled golfer, so it must be true!
