| The weather was overcast but dry and not too windy. After both the storms and the treatment to the greens, the scores this week were far better with an average of 32 rather than 31. Winning easily was Michael Bird with 42 points from Steve Coomber 35 (bad mistake, that, so near the end of the competition!), and emerging from a string of 34s, Nat Pepperel (who else?) and Owen Irish. In the crisps were The Secretary Bird with 22, Chris Hole 25 and on 27, Stuart Ling and Andy Smith. Last event of the season next week so try to make it! |
