It was Indian summer with a slight northerly breeze, so delightful, and the course playing rather well.This week is the tale of tricky-dicky and wide-boy also known as the road runner rather above themselves having played OK; complaints of 2s sometime after the event will not wash as everyone knows that admin is leaky to say the least. Winner this week on countback was John Snell with 40 points from Paul Godwin (quietly competent these days) followed by James Brice, Chris Pitman (limp-like), Roger Walbutton , and Matt Contreras. In the pit were The Secretary Bird, Gray the belt, Biggsy-boy of the black tights, the Pounder, the gremlin breeder, of the newts-well-notthisweek, Chris ***Hole and the sand-master. We had two late submissions this week, one of which was way after the result was published. The Committee has decided that any submission after Wednesday will be treated as an NR for each competitor. This issue has been aired before so let's hope that any group that doesn't trust the scorer to submit their score should choose someone else! The editor is not happy.
