Carrying umbrellas owing to the forecast precluded any threat of rain, so the afternoon was idyllic with a humid warmth and a light breeze to wash away any thought of the shot that had just got 'away'. This was reflected in the scores with two 42s (so congratulations to Mark Popham and his runner up James Symons) but the highest scorer in the crisps on 28 (hard luck to Jamie Tong). The President wasn't with us today to defend his winning streak but we assume that he didn't have the time to practice and so wasn't with us. Roy Miller is noted as now adding substantially to his handicap so we expect him in the winnings next week!
