It was a gorgeous autumninal day and most Crispies made good use of the conditions with an average score of 33. Most notable was Chris Coxon who came in with 34 off -5! There was some scare talk about the Somerset Air Ambulance been seen hovering around the course but rest assured (the Ed knows) that it was a guest appearance from Tommy Bolt who 'always throws in the direction of travel'. There were one or two memorable 2s; Graham Adam's elegant shot to a couple of feet at 6 and El Presidente who holed from the pit at 14. The winner was Graham with 38 points from (on count back as usual) George Lee, Harvey Morris and Malcolm Lawrence. In the loser's enclosure joining Ed were Chastened (again), El Presidente (in the pit too often), Deadeye (use the other one) and Snellenger (only mascerading as champagne). Last week is next week, so perhaps the losers were investing? The Prize Giving Dinner will be in March probably as the opening event will be Wed 31 March. Look at the Home Page nearer the time for confirmation.
