| It was breezy with the threat of showers all day but scoring was reasonable.The (very) modest Treasurer was first with 39 points followed by the dependables: Will Newnes and J-J Poole, Matt Contreras and Richard Harman. Holding up the crisps this week was The Sandman (the editor did try to comfort him) followed by a string including the President who had done quite well, not a couple of weeks before. K Reid is to be reassured that he is not in the crisps and Chris Pitman was seen loitering on the 7th again although he did say that he was impressed with the Editor's putt on 8, so is to be excused! Last week's winner, Malcolm Lawrence, is to be congratulated on avoiding the crisps playing off -7 although Bob McWilliams did falter slightly! |
