It was a lovely day with a steady wind but the course was hard and bouncy so good scores were to be lauded. Miles Skuse, in only his second outing in the Crispies, won with 37 from an old champion, Stuart Ling on 36 with Stuart (another!) Sully 35 and Pete Scarratt on 34. In the crisps on 26 were (surprisingly) Kevins O'Brien and Oxley with el Presidente 23 (seen hitting the 3rd green (amazing) from the 4th tee (oh) and lastly, reportedly seen in the 17th bunker, Alan Shire on 22. It was good to see Dusty Miller back and nice to see Compo who decided not to play in the Crispies but then had a really good round and would have won - we hope to see him back next week! |
