It was a lovely day for golf, warm with sunny spells and not much wind. A lack of rain has meant that the greens have not recovered from their various treatments and one can only imagine that the course staff are frustrated that all their hard work is not reaping swift rewards. Having said that, the course was obviously ridiculously easy as the average score was 35! This had the effect that some high scoring players were fortuitously not in the winnings, damn it. Winner this week was the left handed (and good looking) ace, Ryan Aspinall with 43 from yours truly, John Snell and Steve Coomber. In the pits were Lawless, Lungful, Mullered and parsec.
