In the wars were the faltering Road Runner, the Corncrake and the Groot Tinktinkie. The diminished swifts (only a pair) were quietly trying to keep up with a fleet of foot Crispy 4-ball when they were joined by the tough short-wearing Tawny-flanked Prinia and the Hamerkop (some of his shots stayed hit!). The pace then faltered somewhat as the Golden-rumped Tinker Barbet disintegrated under the pressure.
