| It was supposed to be wet and the club had inserted a society at 1 pm so the day was set up for few to show. In the event, the weather was very pleasant, the society didn't show and many intrepid Crispies did! The winner this week was John Webster with 41 from 'the carpet-bagger' George Lee, Dave Chesney, Nat Pepperell (good result off -1), and Martin Hogan. In the crisps were several including the club captain, John Godley (welcome), Ken Reid again (who had a 2 to go with it), and Steve Coomber who has a near-terminal case of the unmentionables. Our thoughts go to his family since there is a real risk that he might be at home more often. Keep at it, Steve, you will get over it. |
