| It was incredibly hot and, besides one crispy melting away, there were several melt downs including your editor! There was much wingeing too, particularly from those who had done well in previous weeks carrying unfair (they thought) handicaps. Winner this week was Jordan Clapp who I'd seen coming out of the Pro shop just before his round, so what did he get from there, with 46 points, top for this season so far. In his wake on 38 points were Brian Trickey, Chris Pitman, El Presidente and Chris Wadham. In the losers' compound were the Secretary Bird, 007½, The Ed, Lockdown, Dented, Robin (no Batman this week?), and the Yardbird.
