The tsunami washed most of the competitors away, leaving only those with webbed feet and oiled feathers in the frame. Even the Swifts, red hot though they are, retreated after 8 holes, flames extinguished for the moment. Winner was Malcolm Lawrence who should have been cut at least 3 from Chris Hole and Kevin Snell. Unlucky losers were chastened, massacred and short-circuited. Hopefully the season will get going next week with weather suitable for such an august band of players!
