A brisk but pleasant spring day with no rain recently so the course was hard and the greens bumpy and unforgiving. As a consequence there were some low scores with a grimacing 'no comment' from one succoomber and down in the Pits by another. No such problems from Stu Sully with 42 points. Our latest superhero with strange similarities to the Wolverine was in devastating form beating Nat Pepperel, Chris Chetzoy and Pops with ease. The first week's winner, Andy Smith was seen driving brilliantly, not from the tee but in a buggy; his playing partner, another Stu was looking very pale as he was both carrying and had just returned from a 'training' session in Wales. Alan Hannigan is now officially declared a non-basket case - 34 points this week!
