| The weather was very windy and squalls came along too. There was a field of hardy golfers with the conditions suiting some of the players although not our current leader, Captain Comet. The winner, new to superheros, was Spectre (M Lawrence) with 40 points from The Flash (S Sloman), Orion (K Oxley) and The Locksmith (S Coomber). Fiece though the competition was, Dr Fate (R Palmer) came in with Cosmic Boy (J Compton) and, fresh from massive cuts, The Sandman (it's tough out there if you win) plus Geo Force (G Lee).
