| The weather could have been better with quite a bit of rain and very hairy greens and so attendance was down a bit. The Speckled Mousebird was beaten by P.Jones, the Cape Sugarbird and the winner, S.Coleman, the Green Twinspot with 42 points. The Road Runner showed form again, together with the Glossy Ibis who stayed out of the prizes and gained strokes - clever so and so. We should all be congratulated for playing at all but it was noticeable that several winners had bought the crisps recently! The Oxpecker is gradually accumulating a good handicap, equally in the lead at present. |
