As usual this year, the day was warm and bright with only a light breeze. Alistair Johnson was heard commenting on the slowness of the practice green in preparation for another poor round and finished with 39 points - wait until you see the result Ali before speaking! A brilliant 41 from his playing partner, John Snell - who had arrived looking as though he had just rushed off the beach in a fetching 'off the shoulder' black T-shirt and shots plus flipflops. Obviously this sort of preparation is key to winning. Roy Miller has obviously got shares in Walker's Crisps as yet again he invested and is now poised for a big win with 4 Crispy shots. All but one of the winning four this week had invested in like manner. |
