| Although the forecast was warm, it was a chill East wind and the greens were a bit hairy and bumpy, perhaps like some Crispies?! A large field was beaten by Kobe Adams with 40 points who had obviously bought the right clubs this week. Following him were J-J Poole, Gary Wide (returning on another raid?), Chris Smith and John Webster. Plenty of contributions to the crisps came from Ryan Aspinall, The Secretary Bird, Tony 'the clutch putter' Biggs, Paul Godwin, Dave Clark, Peter Bettridge and, hopefully not starting a long investment run, The Sandman. Again, a warm welcome to old faces as the battle, but not so far the season, hots up. |
