| It was a lovely day with sun and clouds and a slight breeze. Pounder was in evidence, loud on occasions, as he tried to interrupt our resident pro who was making stately progress ahead. The winner this week was Peter Horton with 38 from Martin Hogan, Richard Bond and, of course, Mike Steadman. (Hard luck Paddy). Losers were Dented (again), Hannigan's wake, Dusted, Prang, Snuft and Yardbird. Could the editor ask that emails with cards contain names and scores plus any 2s. The cards should also ring 2s. It is easy to miss scores although there are one or two amazingly clear cards. This week there were count-backs for all the top places and three at the bottom. |
