Presuming the weather was similar to South Brittany, the temperature had plummetted and rain was in the air; the birds were probably still singing and Crispies on the hunt. Scoring was better with the average up to last year's for the first time. This was partly due to a splendid 39 points from this week's leader, Martin Short who beat the next 3 by 4 points - Paul Godwin, Jeff Andrews (brilliant!) and John Snell. Contributing to people's happiness were David Fineberg, Malcolm Lawrence, Alan Shire (bunkers again?) and Andy Smith (zeroing off). |
